From engineering to law business strategic planning

Yasemin Başar has built a framework at Deriş that applies her experience in process management from chemical engineering, along with a holistic perspective on finance, customer relations, operations, and human resources gained in large-scale companies, as well as her background in balanced scorecard methodology and teaching experience, to legal processes.

She designs systems, organizes workshops, and provides internal mentoring on attracting, developing, and retaining human capital—considered a key element of strategic planning.

- Ms. Basar's holistic perspective allows corporate strategy to be created from a 360-degree perspective and to fulfill the role of trusted in-house advisor. - In addition to her experience in working with the scorecard methodology, she has in-depth knowledge of process excellence, lean and investing in people. - She is an expert in associating human resources with strategy based on career planning, establishing a potential-performance relationship, leadership, behavioral skills, interpreting personality inventories and associating them with corporate competencies. - She mentors employees at all levels within the organization and trains new mentors. Designs and implements training programs and trains internal trainers.
