DERIS successfully disrupted a hacker with over 10,000 followers across five accounts, who was illegally distributing copyrighted content. The hacker also possessed over 100 stolen accounts from entertainment companies. All accounts were shut down and the hacker was arrested, effectively ending their piracy activities.

Following its earlier action against a network attracting 28 million monthly visitors, DERIS dismantled another major streaming network offering approximately 1,000 films and 72,000 TV episodes. Two of its domains alone were estimated to generate USD 220,320 per month. The latest closure further strengthened DERIS’s track record against Türkiye’s largest commercial piracy operations and was reported in the Turkish media.

Preventing high-profile content leaks of two of the world's most popular and highly anticipated TV series, which together have over 2 billion hours of global viewership, with potential losses estimated at approximately $50 million.

This matter extended beyond a conventional piracy website. A mobile application distributed live television, films, series and sports through a network of 14 known domains, attracting nearly 1.5 million visits in seven months. The resulting settlement ended the service and covered 15 associated domains, disrupting an international piracy ecosystem rather than a single access point.
