We are pleased to share that DERIS participated in the Customs Training Sessions held on July 9-10, 2024, in Istanbul, representing our esteemed clients. These sessions aimed to inform customs personnel about the trademarks of our clients, as well as the intricacies of design protection, patent rights, and copyrights. Although the event was held in Istanbul, due to the significance of Istanbul and its customs, personnel from both Istanbul customs offices and surroundings attended the event, with approximately 50 customs officers from various departments. During these presentations, customs officers were provided with information about our clients operating in various sectors such as technology, cleaning products, accessories, food and beverages, entertainment, clothing, sports, and spare parts. In addition, both counterfeit and original sample products were displayed, allowing customs personnel to examine our clients' products in a tangible way. DERIS will continue to participate in future events to protect the intellectual property rights of its clients at customs and to provide information about these rights.
